There are many more cartoon fathers across cartoon animated history, filling out different roles in addition to simply child bearing and child rearing. Whether simply comical or heroic in some way or being the antagonist of a cartoon show or movie, cartoon fathers fill a role that can't be filled by any other cartoon archetype, including cartoon mothers. If you look hard enough, you can find a cartoon father in just about any of your favorite cartoon series. For the most part, they may not be as likable as parents as cartoon mothers, but they are undeniably popular. Here is the list of 20 cartoon facts for this chapter:

1. Marlin from Finding Nemo is a clownfish who lives in a sea anenome the stings from the anenome are similar to a jellyfish sting he recieves later.

2. Andy Panda's dad, similar to Andy himself began as a clothes-free anthropomorphic panda bear, and as a giant panda was larger than Andy ever became.

3. In an episode where Andy Panda's dad tried to fix his roof, it was revealed that Andy's dad's name was Andrew.

4. Yugi's grandfather once entered a tournament with a mask under the name Apnarg. He never got past the first round, losing to Joey Wheeler.
