Jet Man: Another animated series
65Jet Man: Another superhero idea.
This is one more idea from my list of a hundred other cartoon show ideas in addition to The D-Man. Jet Man is featured in the first episode of The D-Man, but he has origins that date back long before I invented The D-Man. Jet Man comes from the future, and has abilities similar to Iron Man. Jet Man has rockets on his boots, and blasters in his palms. He doesn't have anything flashy like a magic glowing sword, but he does possess robotic superhuman strength, and can fly at extroardinary speeds, and has unfailing accuracy. Jet Man's signature ability is "Calculate", which allows him to detect the most possible future a few seconds before it happens, similar to Action Man, and thus get out of seemingly impossible situations.
Jet Man's nemesis was originally a rival robot named Virus who was a robot model similar to Jet Man corrupted by a computer virus into a force of evil. However, to make things more sophisticated, I'm planning on something like a crime boss who was presumed dead after an attempted assasination, and his brain was programmed into an evil robot. He and his cybernetic gang, known as The Fist of Steel, steal a time machine and travel back into our time. The main villain is a robot named Master Titanium, who has armor over twice as hard as that of Jet Man, and has over twice the firepower and strength as Jet Man. Basically, apart from Jet Man's "calculate" ability, Master Titanium has powers similar to those of Jet Man, but clearly more powerful and offensive. In exchange for the "Calculate" ability, Master Titanium has a "Slave Beam", which can mesmerize or immobilize others, or create an expandable, shapable force field.
Master Titanium's minions include: Aluminum, a weak-willed kissup who is easy to underestimate. With little armor to speak of and almost no firepower, Aluminum is mainly used for sneaking around, but can relay information to Master Titanium, and he can leap out of nowhere to attack with a sniper laser weapon. Dr. Magnesus is a female mad scientist and the one responsible for uploading Master Titanium into the robot body. She has robotic arms that can transform into automatic weapons, a cybernetic eye that can see through solid objects, and a "data pack" that can access an incredible amount of data on machines. Mighty Mack is the biggest, toughest and dumbest member of Master Titanium's team, an entirely mechanical titan of a villain with a head like an elephant.
Mighty Mack is strongest when attacking in a full-fledged quadropedal charge attack, which can send an opponent flying, or bring entire buildings down. He talks in grunts and growls, but seems to be rather easy to understand and understands fluent English. There's also Timebender, a villain who stole all the inventions of the inventor who made the time machine. He can cause all kinds of time-related problems such as stopping, slowing, or even reversing kinetic energy for a brief period of time. However, Jet Man has found allies in our time. There is Detective Drew, a chubby private eye who distrusts Jet Man and thinks he's more trouble than he's worth. However, the two work together on numerous occasions. There is also Professor Kuba, an etcentric scientist who helps Jet Man with all his technological issues, but most of his independant inventions fall apart at the wrong moments.
There are also Jessica and Harry, who are the pre-teen ancestors of the scientist who invented Jet Man. Jessica and Harry both seem to have a high interest in machines and show above-average intelligence as well as being good friends to Jet Man, but otherwise mostly act like average school kids. There's not really a story here, it's all about Jet Man saving the human race in present-day times from being destroyed by Master Titanium, and stop him from altering history.
Anyway, now that I'm done telling you about this idea, here are the first ten episodes in the series:
1. Colossus: Master Titanium travels to Rome in search of a legendary ancient robot named Colossus.
2. The Dimensional Beam: Master Titanium steals Professor Kuba's gateway into another dimension in hopes of banishing Jet Man into another dimension forever.
3. Just a Hunch: Drew gets suspicious of Jet Man commiting a crime and tries to arrest Jet Man.
4. The Fantastaff: Dr. Magnesus invents a staff that causes all kinds of illusions and can mesmerize people on a wide scale.
5. Metal versus magic: A sinister magician named Chao hates technology and tries to use his magic to destroy Jet Man and his friends.
6. The Showdown: Jet Man is lured into a one-on-one fight-to-the-finish against Master Titanium, but Jet Man fights fair while Fist of Steel cheats like crazy.
7. Absolute power: A demon makes a bargain with Mighty Mack to give him powers and abilities that even defeat Jet Man.
8. Mind over metal: A powerful psychic sets out to prove that the power of a human mind is stronger than that of any mechine by trying to destroy Jet Man.
9. Phobia: Master Titanium tries to get at Jet Man's friends Jessica and Harry by inventing evil robots based on their greatest fears.
10. The mechanizer: A robot from the future comes to our time and threatens both Master Titanium and Jet Man with a weapon that can turn organic life into machines or turn Jet Man into a human.
That's all for now. Check out my other blogs for more high-flying episodes of Jet Man!
