What kind of magic would you have?

A variety of magics, but you can only choose one.

 Do you believe in magic? If you're the average adult, the answer is probably no. Magic is illogical and physically impossible. For those of you who DO believe in magic, it can be quite dangerous, even if it isn't intended to be, not only to those around the caster, but to the caster themself. Personally, I wouldn't say I really believe in magic, or related paranormal phenomena, but I don't entirely disbelieve in it either. After all, once, there were two rose bushes, one of which bloomed and the other withered and died. They were both given the same care, the same shelter, the only difference is that one of them was prayed over, while the other was curse.

At any rate, if you came to this hub looking for real magic, you'll have to leave disappointed. I'm no magician, no sorcerer, no witchdoctor, or even a gypsy. I'm just a writer with a big imagination and too much free time. The purpose of this particular hub is to offer the unrealistic possibility of which magic you, the reader of this hub, would choose if you could only choose one spell, and only one magical ability. The kind of magic you would best choose may, very well, show something about you. If not, you are certainly free to imagine the possibilities of what you could do with such magic. Anyway, here are 30 spells each with their own word or incantation, and each with a different magical effect. Enjoy, but remember: You only get one.

 

1. Kabazen-Kovabo: The spell of superhuman strength. With this magic, you can lift great weight and move cars, or even entire buildings out of the way. However, this spell does not allow superhuman endurance or invulnerability.

 

2. Jalaxasis-Gazeros: The spell of memories. Using this spell, you can recall anything you've seen or heard before. This spell reveals events that have occurred AS they really happened, instead of the way a person's mind may have distorted it, and recalling the truth may be a problem more than a benefit. 

 

3. Illusio-magogomere: The spell of illusions. This is a conjuring spell, which create not only visions but sounds that the caster imagines, which then become what a person or persons imagine. This can be a powerful spell if used correctly, but the person dealt such an illusion can counteract this magic with high levels of confidence, and this spell cannot physically touch anyone.

 

4. Shamakko-Cloudance: The spell of flight and levitation. Casting this spell allows you to fly from one place to another, and move in the air in any way you imagine. However, once your feet touch the ground after casting this spell, the effect wears off, and you must cast the spell again to again levitate or fly.

 

5. Eyes of the mind, hear my plea,

let their thoughts now speak to me: The incantation for mind-reading. You can see and hear everything a person is thinking, or look deeper into their memories. However, you must have a great deal of concentration, and if you lose focus, you must cast this spell once again in order to use it.

 

6. Allia-onduro: The friend spell. This spell causes others to wish to be friends with you rather than enemies. It won't make people do whatever you want them to do, and it won't change a person's attitude toward anyone but you. Mostly, this spell will show someone a quality about you that they can admire.  

 

7. Azordial-Razoolong: The spell of speed. With this spell, a person can read a large textbook in just one day, or run miles in just a short spurt of energy. However, this spell doesn't last long and does not allow superhuman endurance.

 

8. All that I now ask of you,

is for what you say to be true: The incantation of truth. Any people affected by this spell are literally incapable of lying or decieving others for an entire day. The person or persons effected by this incantation is unaware of any magical influence and acts naturally.

 

9. Restorak-Aurom: The "fix" spell. You can repair or fully restore any inanimate object nearby you, but every inanimate object that is restored by this spell can only be restored once per day.

 

10. Prophetus-Prothogon: The spell of precognition. Whoever casts this spell can see any event that will occur within 24 hours of casting this spell, but any events seen in these visions cannot possibly be changed, and using this spell for personal gain often causes more pain than profit. 

 

11. Oralion-Vioganian: The spell of communication. Anyone who casts this spell can communicate with any one entity at a time, including people of different countries, babies who haven't learned to talk, or even animals.

 

12. Hear me beasts of earth, sky and sea,

make your wonders mine to see: The incantation of beastial transformation. Using this spell, you can transform into any animal you've touched within the last 24 hours. This spell also lasts only 24 hours.

 

13. Illuminoso-Gazozo: The spell of bright lights and illumination. A darkened, immediate area around you is lightened up and all details around are revealed. This spell can be cancelled by the same person speaking the spell's words a second time.

 

14. Moradera-Oraku-Rouk: The spell of liquids. You can change the bodily composition of any liquid, especially water, into a solid, frozen form, or into a gaseous form, or change it back into a liquid form.

 

15. Magic force, hear my cry,

Make me unseen to watching eyes: The incantation of invisibility. You can turn yourself or someone or something nearby invisible for a short period of time. An invisible person can still be detected by their footprints and what they touch.

 

16. Kazokatomir-Guzomak: The spell of endurance and stamina. Anyone casting this spell while engaged in an activity has the energy to continue that activity all day long. This spell doesn't change that person's strength or speed though.

 

17. Raigi-Ansuti-Goengi: The spell of healing. This spell cures anyone's injury or illness once every day, but only designates one injury or illness can be chosen per person. 

 

18. Nagaitous-Encieva: The spell of blooming. This spell can physically mature any pre-adult into an adult or grow any plant from a seedling to a full-grown plant. The effects last 24 hours on animal life and don't necessarily affect that animal's mental or emotional level, and the effects on plant life are permanent.

 

19. Ravo-Vorak: The spell of peace. A person affected with this spell sees no need for violence, and tries to resolve any conflicts as peacefully as possible. This spell doesn't change a person's attitude toward anything, and they may retain an ill-temper, but if so, shouting is the only sign of aggression. 

 

20. Kaizo-Axxor: The spell of alchemic mutation. A person can change any solid, inanimate form from one element to another. The aspect of turning lead or such an element to gold may be enticing, but it is easy to raise suspicion that way and acquire greedy enemies.

 

21. Atomak-Hatamir: The spell of astral-projection. A person who casts this spell has their body become limp and unmoving (As if asleep), while their spirit is able to fly and pass through solid objects. Once that astral form returns to its body, the spell ends, and the person wakes up.

 

22. Zazorex-Makuto: The spell of temperature. Whoever casts this spell does not feel intense heat or cold, and can make someone nearby feel hot or cold. This spell cannot actually freeze or burn anyone.  

 

23. Torukoti-Jougin: The spell of fortune. Anyone who casts this spell while playing a game gains increased luck and a statistically greater chance of victory. This can lead to dangerous overconfidence and it only works while playing a game with others. This spell also does not guarantee victory in games that involve strategy.

 

24. Mooko-Sozuji: The spell of childhood. This spell can revert anyone from adulthood or teen years to someone between the ages of four and ten. The person affected has their clothes changed to match their new age and the person can't remember being older than that age. This spell wears off in 24 hours, and only one person can be affected with this spell per day. 

 

25. Voices of the strong, and words of the wise,

Allow me the right to select my own size: The size spell. A person can change to as small as an ant, or as big as an elephant. Casting this spell can also return a person to their natural size.

 

26. Praximorotu-Moakan: The pause spell. For only a few minutes at the most, time stops for everyone and everything except the caster of this spell. anything that was moving, falling, or flying completely ceases motion when this spell is cast. 

 

27. Kabonura-Tiburo: The dream spell. Whoever casts this spell will never be afraid by nightmares and be able to come up with fictional storylines which will entertain all audiences. A person who casts this spell will have complete control over any world created by their imagination. 

 

28. Plonxion-ferivorce: The spell of fire. You can create fire or smoke at any time and in any form. Beware: If you play with fire, you get burned.

 

29. Doracle-Miravorce: The double spell. This spell creates a physical double of the caster to occupy a different task while the caster is doing something. The exact copy has the same personality as the caster, but cannot cast any spells. The caster can only create one double per day, and the double disappears in 24 hours after casting this spell.  

 

30. Vomirasol-Asteroth: The spell of time. You can move backward or forward in time up to an entire day. If you move forward in time, you can cancel the spell by saying the words a second time, but if you travel backward in time, you must wait until the day you cast the spell has passed in order to cast this spell again.
